Chag Urim Sameach! [Happy Festival of Lights!]

Hanukkah celebrates hope, renewal and resilience, serving as a reminder to
illuminate the world even during the darkest moments.

The essence of Hanukkah is captured in the way people unite and demonstrate acts of kindness and generosity, emphasizing that together we can create a significant impact on the lives of others.

A candle is a small thing. But one candle can light another. And see how its own light increases, as a candle gives its flame to the other. You are such a light.

MAY THE CANDLES SHINE BRIGHTLY AS WE WARMLY WELCOME OUR NEW BOARD PRESIDENT, MAUREEN CIPOLLA

It is with great honor that I serve as Board President of the Treasure Chest Foundation. My journey began in 2013 when I first connected with our founder, Colleen Kisel, who shared her inspiring story and the mission of the organization.

After hearing Colleen’s story, I was eager to become part of this amazing Foundation as it makes a difference in the lives of children and teens undergoing cancer treatments.

This cause resonates deeply with me, as it brings back memories of losing my father to cancer in 2004. I cannot begin to imagine the fear and uncertainty that a young child or teenager with cancer must feel. I am a firm believer that Colleen and I met for a reason and I am grateful for being part of this wonderful Foundation.

Since I joined the Board of Directors, I have aspired to tell the story of the Treasure Chest Foundation to our community and help raise awareness. My role as a Board member and now President coincides with my community engagement as past President of the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce and Mortgage Loan Officer V.P. with Old National Bank. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and leading by example through community service. I invite and encourage everyone to learn more about the Treasure Chest Foundation.
