13th Annual Gala Success
We are still glowing from the overwhelming love and support shown at our 13th Annual Treasuring Our Kids Gala. We’re thrilled to say that, thanks to your generosity, we raised over $123,000 to bring comfort and joy to children and teens fighting cancer! Whether you attended in person, contributed items to our raffles and auctions, or made a donation from afar, your compassion helped make this our most successful gala yet. Our unforgettable evening began with laughter, conversation and the clinking of glasses as guests mingled and explored a stunning array of raffle baskets and auction treasures. As the room filled with warmth and anticipation, our charismatic emcee, Brhett Vickery, officially opened the night with energy and grace. We were deeply moved by the heartfelt background story of the Treasure Chest Foundation, a mission that began nearly 30 years ago with one small idea and has now grown to serve thousands of children and teens every month. That mission came to life through the story of our remarkable Honorary Chairperson, Olivia Glas, a bright, resilient 15-year-old who inspired every guest in the room. Olivia’s journey with cancer, her courage and her infectious joy reminded us all exactly why this work matters.
As the evening unfolded, we proudly honored Megan Thatcher as our Volunteer of the Year, in recognition of her unwavering dedication and service. Her selfless contributions embody the heart and soul of the Foundation. Then came the music. The Blooze Brothers lit up the dance floor and filled the room with rhythm, soul and joy. Guests danced and sang the night away until our incredible live auctioneer, Stephanie Heckman, took the stage and kicked off a bidding frenzy. Laughter and excitement filled the air as supporters generously vied for unforgettable experiences, all in the name of helping children in need. After the final paddle went down and the final note rang out, we stood together as a community united in hope, kindness and purpose. It was a night none of us will forget.
