The Egg and I restaurant in Tinley Park will roast 40 pounds of turkey and prepare three gallons of gravy to benefit the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation (POTCF) for the upcoming Brementowne Manor in Tinley Park Charitable Turkey Dinner extravaganza.
When Egg and I Owner Jason Garofalo was asked why he was willing to roast the turkeys, make the gravy and deliver it all to the Brementowne Manor in Tinley Park for their charitable turkey dinner, he said, "I have two little girls, one three years old and the other six months, and to see the devastating effects and the pain that kids must go through while undergoing treatment for cancer, I just can't imagine. It breaks your heart and it is not fair," said Jason.
