Paul Maiellaro and the Chicagoland Entertainment Collectors Expo
held their 10th Annual Collectors Expo at The Holiday Inn in Carol
Stream. The event raised more than $12,200 to benefit the Pediatric
Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation.
Highlights of the weekend included The Charity Celebrity Breakfast
Buffet, The Charity Celebrity Dinner Buffet and The Charity
Auction.
Among the guests of honor were Felix Silla (the flying Ewok in Star
Wars); Erin Moran (Joanie Cunningham of the 1970s TV sitcom, Happy
Days); Larry Thomas (the Soup Nazi of Seinfeld); and Scott L.
Schwartz (actor, stuntman and former professional wrestler).
Promoter Paul Maiellaro said, "Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make our show a HUGE success! We appreciate everyone who attended and exhibited- our guests, dealers, artists and especially the collectors! Thanks to your support we raised more than $12,200 for children and teens fighting cancer."
The Treasure Chest of Art was a very special fundraiser for the 10th Anniversary Expo in September. Benefitting the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation, this limited edition sketch card collection featured the artwork of hundreds of artists from around the globe. Limited to only 100, each individually hand-crafted Treasure Chest of Art contained 50 original and randomly inserted black & white as well as color works of art in trading card form. Each chest was numbered and came with a Certificate of Authenticity. The Treasure Chest of Art fundraiser raised $5,000 to support the POTCF.

Kevin Urban carefully examines the Treasure Chest of Art before making his purchase while Paul Maiellaro and volunteer Cherie Rio look on.
Paul and Diane Maiellaro, along with C3PO and R2D2, joyfully greet attendees of the 10th Anniversary Chicagoland Entertainment Collectors Entertainment Expo.
