The employees of Massage Envy in Orland Park recently held a Member Appreciation month to benefit a non-profit organization designated by club members. The program called for Massage Envy to donate $5 from every massage on certain days throughout the month, and the chosen organization turned out to be the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation (POTCF). When the last massage was performed, Massage Envy had raised $820 to benefit the Treasure Chest Foundation and ultimately the brave children and teens fighting cancer throughout the nation.
Massage Envy Regional Manager Laura Erickson said, "The Treasure Chest Foundation touches the hearts of people who might otherwise go unnoticed. Cancer treatment is a very scary and painful experience. It is a joy to help these kids and their parents."
