Jack’s Back, Lemonade Stand for POTCF

The Genis family of Frankfort is giving to children and teens fighting cancer. The family sponsored a lemonade and cup cake sale on May 21 that raised more than $2,250 for The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation. (POTCF).

Shelly Genis said, "Our front yard was filled with family, friends and neighbors that wanted to support Jack and the Treasure Chest Foundation.  Hundreds of cupcakes were being delivered to our house leading up to the event.  Jack's Cupcake/Lemonade Stand has become a community event.  We received cupcake donations from the Frankfort Square Park District After School Program, gift cards for supplies from Walt's in Tinley Park and Target in Orland Park, a coffee donation from Starbucks and man power from the Tinley Park Kohl's Cares.  Support came from Arlington Heights down to Bourbonnais and Chicago to the south suburbs. We have the best family, friends and neighbors money can buy."

The POTCF is especially grateful to the Genis family for their enormous donation of more than $2,250. Thanks to their hard work and generosity, the Foundation continues to support more than 7,300 children and teens monthly.
